Sydney this year in particular, has a 'squished like sardines' series of events in 2023 - and therefore lots of potentially lucrative periods to maximise your rental income!

Adrián Villar Rojas: The End of Imagination

When: January until 16 July, 2023

Adrián Villar Rojas’s The End of Imagination is the first exhibition one can view in the Tank, the vast space underneath Art Gallery of NSW’s new building.

Sydney WorldPride

When: 17 February to 5 March, 2023

Sydney World Pride is an extravaganza (frequently in organza!) with big names headlining e.g. Kylie Minogue, Charli XCX, Jessica Mauboy and Kelly Rowland: Not forgotting the Mardi Gras Parade on February 26 which will back in its home turf of Oxford Street.


Vivid Sydney

When: 26 May to 17 June, 2023

Vivid Sydney is one of the 'world's biggest lights festivals bringing together an eclectic mix of light artists, music makers, thought leaders and food creatives


FIFA Women’s World Cup

When: 20 July to 20 August

Perhaps the biggest (or 2nd biggest event of the year) is the FIFA Women’s World Cup which will bring the best players from across the globe to Sydney...bringing together all women teams from across the planet for an Australian first and probably thousands or hundreds thousands of overseas and national visitors to the Harbour City!

SXSW Sydney

When: 15 to 22 October

Another first and heading out of the United States for the first time ever, is the SXSW festivalwhich for seven days and nights of creativity and culture. With events across tech, gaming, music, screen and culture, it will be a place/space to explore novel ideas and works of art from leaders in their field, as well as bring together a vibrant community of passionate creatives.
